Harm Industries was established in the spring of 2008 and is owned and operated by one of Maryland's Original MMA clothing brand Nemesis Fight Gear (launched in 2004). Nemesis Fight Gear was the 2nd Baltimore Maryland mma brand to appear in the UFC. The 1st brand was XR Fighting which was owned & operated by our close friend & business partner, Blue Chip Management founder Bryan Hamper. Harm Industries had the pleasure of being the 1st Baltimore brand to be worn at Maryland's Premier MMA organization Shogun Fights.

Harm Industries is based out of Baltimore Maryland. Our goal is to provide top quality gear that is fan & fighter friendly. For those of you not from Baltimore, our city has the nickname Charm City. But because of the Violent Crimes & Murder rate in Baltimore, the city is widely known as Harm City.

As a brand, we like to develop long term relationships with our athletes. We also have the ability to design and maintain your website. Brand owner David Paul Wilson is also an agent at one of the top MMA management companies in the business Blue Chip Management.

Harm Industries has had the pleasure of working with some of the top Amateur and Professional MMA fighters from Baltimore as well as several fighters who are veterans of the UFC, Bellator Fighting Championship, Shogun Fights & Elite XC.

4/4: MMA'S 1ST VILLIAN:

Wes "The Project" Sims will be a special correspondent at Shogun Fights VI on Saturday April 14th 2012 for DOJO TV.

Dojo.tv Daily Beat Down: Wes Sims delivers the Powerbomb from Hell

Ohio fighter Wes “The Project” Sims was one of, if not the, first villains in MMA. Even before he had his first fight in the UFC against Frank Mir at UFC 43 on June 6, 2003, the organization built up hype before the fight by showing this video. Imagine a towering, scary pro wrestler, but with actual fighting skills — that was Sims.

In this fight, Sims was pitted against Edwin Allsitez at the Hammer House Fighting Championship 3: Unfinished Fury on Oct. 19, 2002. The 6’9″ Sims controlled the action with knees in the clinch, then unleashed what can only be called the Powerbomb from Hell, then soccer-kicked Allsitez in the face for good measure. The fight was ruled a no-contest.

In his fight with Mir, Sims didn’t disappoint — at least in terms of his evil “character” — stomping on Mir in the fight, earning himself a disqualification. After the event, someone suggested to Sims that, considering what just happened in the Octagon, why not just go with it? And MMA’s bad guy was born. Sims, who is now part of the Dojo.tv team, will be serving as a correspondent at MMA events around the country. Make sure to log on to Dojo.tv — it’s an amazing archive of MMA history.
